Literature Text

Every single time I see,
You walking right past me,
I'd never thought it'd ever be,
That you would fall down so quickly.

You were uniquely different,
Standing out from the crowd.
Sometimes your gaze would shut off my ears,
And I could hear my thoughts blazin' aloud.

Now I can't turn them off anymore.
You fell, you walked right through that door.
Whatever did you do this for?
You hurt me, 'cause it is you who I adore!

Now the pain is so unbearable!
My strength is too vulnerable!
Your morals are questionable!
Our love is irreplaceable!

Please tell me that this isn't you.
We were on the same path, isn't this true?
Please tell me this ain't you.
For I saw us together, and we only grew.

Y'know they say history repeats itself.
So what you have done to yourself,
I'll tell you myself,
Make sure it don't appear on our bookshelf.

God's the One who put us together,
His power can never break,
It's meant to last forever.

So I'm sayin' it now,
Loud and clear,
You are beautiful,
Just the way you are,
My dear.
