Forgive Me, O Lord

First time using Sai to actually draw something from scratch!

And surprisingly, this didn't take me too long at all, only took a few days.

So this here is my OC, fully drawn for reals this time. I made this OC up when I was a little kid when the term OC wasn't even invented yet.

His name: Ara Aten, my childhood nickname for myself, I have used it for my made up character for years now.

By the way, it is pronounced (Aw-Rah Ah-Tin).

In this picture, he is crying to his Lord for forgiveness.

The burden is so great on him, that God is pleased and sends down rain as a source of mercy.

Holy Qur'an [42:29] And He it is Who sends down rain after they have despaired, and spreads out His mercy. And He is the Protector, the Praiseworthy.

Also, there is another beautiful verse in the Qur'an, and it reads, twice actually, like this:

[94:6] Surely there is ease after hardship.
[94:7] Aye, surely there is ease after hardship.

It means that, whatever trials or stresses you are facing right now, (hardships), verily, you will attain the peace of mind after the hardship is over, and your heart will be calm again. ^__^
